Michael J. Clifford

Michael J. Clifford passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at his residence in Bixby at the age of 56. He was born July 13, 1958 in Biddeford, Maine to Herbert and Gertrude Clifford. In 1975, Michael graduated from Marshwood High School in Elliot, Maine. He furthered his education by earning his bachelor's degree from the business school at the University of Maine. Michael had a great personality and was known to be one of the most loving, generous people on the face of the earth. He loved sports of all types and his two yorkies. Michael was a big fan of Oklahoma football. He was a leader, a motivator, and a mentor. He married his wife, S.C., on March 12, 1988 in Clementon, New Jersey. They were soul mates and best friends for 27 years. According to S.C. "he was the best husband a girl could get." Michael was a member of the Church of Christ in Jenks.

Michael was preceded in death by his father in January of 2014. He is survived by his wife S.C. Clifford; his mother Gertrude Clifford; his children Eric Clifford, Jeffrey Clifford, and Hillary Clifford; his brothers Mark Clifford and Robert Clifford; his grandmother Alma Clifford; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends that loved him dearly.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2014 in the Chapel at Schaudt-Teel.
