Michael Glenn Strawser

Michael Glenn Strawser age 59 of Bixby, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2011 after a long and courageous battle. Michael was born May 25, 1952 to Cleo Laverne Strawser and Betty (Johnson) Strawser in Minnesota. He was the younger of two children. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Cleo L. Strawser. He is survived by the "love of his life" his wife, Rose of thirty-six years; the "light of his life" his son, Ira and his wife Amy and their son Evan Michael; his daughter, Siera "Daddy's Girl"; his mother Betty Strawser, his brother Craig and his wife, Krista Strawser, their children Nikki and Matt and their families, his cousin Ron Strawser; his caring in-laws Julie Goodnight and Kay Terry, friends Carrie, Bobbie, Bob and Susie along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. Michael touched the lives and hearts of many people with his smile, his charm, his sense of humor, laughter, optimism, intelligence and individuality. He was "one of a kind". Michael was a wonderful husband, an awesome father who dedicated his life to his family. Michael was a funny, warm, kind, gentle and giving man who will be missed, cherished and loved forever. A celebration of Michael's life will take place 10:30 a.m. January 28, 2012 at Camp Loughridge. Memorial donations can be made to the Clarehouse. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
