Michael Dean Miles

Michael Dean Miles age 62 passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at his Tulsa, Oklahoma residence.

Michael was born February 11, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ben D. Miles and Norma (Higgins) Miles. He served in the United States Air Force from May 1973 until December 1977. Michael received a Bachelors Degree from Langston University. He worked as a Network Engineer for WorldCom, and previously worked for Marriott and TV Guide in Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ben and Norma.

Michael is survived by his son, Jared Miles and his wife, Heather of Dallas, Texas, his daughter, Rachel Shada and her husband, Jack of Houston, Texas, Amy Petits, his brother, Tom Miles and his wife, Kathe of Corsicana, Texas, his sister, Pam Scott of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his brother, Ron Miles of Tulsa, Oklahoma his two grandchildren, Walter and Wendy Shada of Houston along with other family members and friends.

Private family services will take place at a later date.
