Michael Craig Bailey, age 57 passed away July 3, 2008 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 7, 1951 to Amos Bailey and Opal (Lincoln) Bailey. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri area most of his life. He married Linda Joan (Rowland) on February 10, 1995 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael worked for Miller Printing Company as a printing operator. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and riding motor cycles. Michael also liked to listen to music, play chess with his son and build model cars.
Michael attended Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by both parents: Amos and Opal Bailey. He is survived by his wife: Linda Joan Bailey; his son: Harley Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers: Jerry Bailey of Springfield, Missouri, Rodney Lynn of Cadillac, Michigan; one sister: Rhonda Engles of St. Louis, Missouri along with their families; three daughters: Carmen Bailey, Michelle Bailey and Maureen Butler of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four step-daughters (he referred to them as his daughters) Alicynn Gore of Tulsa, Wendy Miller of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; Kay Purdom of Broken Arrow, Cindy of Broken Arrow, son: Faron Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
A memorial service will be held at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15th. Reverend Rodney James will officiate.
