Micah Zane Kendrick

September 7, 1982 — August 30, 2021

Micah Zane Kendrick of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the age of 38.

Micah was born on September 7, 1982, to Franklin and Ladean (McCrary) Kendrick in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was eight years younger than his older brother, Dean. They enjoyed vying for each other's attention with wild scuffles and antics as brothers do but had a deep undying devotion for each other. Micah enjoyed gymnastics, football, baseball, snowboarding, and golf. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 2001, and from Denver Automotive and Diesel College in 2006. Although he was a trained mechanic, he later became a trained career electrician. Micah met the love of his life, Jodi Sherrell, on May 24, 2008, and they were married exactly one year later in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They both enjoyed attending music concerts, as well as the Scotfest in Broken Arrow and the Renaissance Fair in Muskogee every year where Micah would wear his kilt. They also enjoyed traveling to Missouri, Texas, and Colorado. He and Jodi had a wonderful trip to Colorado last October, where it snowed them in and they were forced to stay an extra week. Micah was a big man with a heart of gold. His favorite things in life were spending time with his family, his fur babies, and helping anyone who needed it.

Micah is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and Dean McCrary and Aileen and George Strong, and uncle, Karl Kendrick.

He is survived by his wife, Jodi Kendrick, fur babies, Sadie, Harley, and Kaycee; parents, Ladean and Franklin Kendrick; brother, Dean and wife Elizabeth, nephew, Kyle Kendrick and wife Jennifer, great-nephew, Gavin Kendrick, great-niece, Katelynn Kendrick; aunts, Atina Pegram and husband Chris, Norma Kendrick, uncle, Frank McCrary and wife Valerie; great aunts, great uncle, many cousins, and other loving family and friends.
