Melvin Michael Kelough

Melvin Michael Kelough, 60 of Okmulgee, went to be with the Lord February 24th, 2017.

Melvin was born in the old Okmulgee Hospital on April 11, 1956 to Betty Louise (Castleberry) and Arthur Melvin Kelough. He attended school at Hitchita and Okmulgee, graduating from Okmulgee High School in 1974. He attended college at East Central University. Melvin loved sports and especially followed OU, Dallas Cowboys, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was an avid fisherman and spending time with his family.

Working as a Manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken was something Melvin thoroughly enjoyed.

Melvin is survived by his wife Nelda, son Erich Michael Kelough, sister Valorie Kennedy and brothers, Jarrett (wife Janet) Kelough and Roger Kelough, three nieces, three nephews and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was welcomed into his final home by his parents and a host of relatives.

Visitation is Sunday, February 26, 2016 from 2:00PM - 5:00PM at the Schaudt's Funeral Service Okmulgee Chapel, 220 S. Alabama.

Funeral Service Monday, February 27, 2016 1:00 PM at the Schaudt Okmulgee Chapel. Interment will follow at Hitchita Cemetery.
