Melissa Dianne Gilliam

Melissa Dianne Gilliam, 40, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was killed tragically in a house fire, along with her husband, Robert Gilliam and loyal canine companion, Kiki, the morning of November 7, 2017. She was born on August 17, 1977, in Exeter, California to Donita (Watkins) and Randall Leon Robbins. She attended Poteau High School and graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors of Criminal Science.

Melissa married Robert Gilliam in November of 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She enjoyed crafting, refinishing furniture and cooking. She was a wonderful mother, and truly valued time spent with her three boys.

She was preceded in death by her children's father, Mike Mitchell.

Survivors include her children, Brenden Allen Mitchell, Brett Anthony Mitchell and Blake Alexander Mitchell; parents, Randy and Donita Robbins of Tulsa, OK; siblings, Randy Robbins and wife, Tonya of Tulsa, OK, Brian Lee Robbins and wife, Kimberly of Tulsa, OK, Tiffany Marie Evie Pizana and husband, James of Seguine, TX; and many other family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017, 3PM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel. Services are entrusted to Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service and Cremation Care Center.
