Maxine Gasaway

Maxine B. Gasaway passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born May 29, 1925 to John Butts and Rosalee (Herrin) Butts in Asher, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Gasaway; step-father, Doc Haworth; brothers, J.C. and Virgil Butts; sisters, Mary Hall, Vivian McCurley and June Myers. Survivors include her son, John Berry Gasaway and wife, Katie Mills-Gasaway of Weatherford, TX and two grandchildren, Nolan and Aaron Gasaway. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
