Mary Wilma (Stubbs) Levison, age 76 passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary was born in Sylvania, Georgia on October 29, 1932 to Wilton Walker and Mary Edith (Walker) Creech. Mary graduated in 1950 from Commercial High School in Savannah, Georgia. On August 11, 1950 she married the love of her life, Donald Lamar Levison; they just celebrated fifty-nine devoted years of marriage. Mary worked in customer service at Sears & Roebuck for twenty-one years before retiring. Mary's life revolved around caring for and enjoying her family, and her precious cat of twenty-one years Angel. She was a talented artist and loved to sketch and paint. Mary spent many happy hours in her yard, visiting with her family and watching hummingbirds. Mary was a member of Rolling Roads Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. She had many friends in Greensboro as well as in previous hometowns Savannah and Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Wilton Walker and Edith Creech, and adoptive father Glen Creech.
She is survived by her husband: Donald Levison, Sr. of Broken Arrow; her sons: Donald Levison, Jr. and his partner, Rhoda Davis of Stanley, North Carolina; Eric Levison and his wife, Pat of Titusville, Florida; her daughters: Susan Levison of Broken Arrow, Sandra Autry and her husband, Frank of Mocksville, North Carolina; her sister: Annette Skelton and her husband, Bobby of Charleston, South Carolina; her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren: grandsons: Jason Levison and his wife, Jesse of Tulsa; Taylor Autry and Jordan Autry of Mocksville, North Carolina; granddaughter: Sidnee Autry of Mocksville, North Carolina; great grandsons: Seth Levison and Shane Levison of Tulsa; along with her beloved lifelong friend: Vivian Geiger and her husband, Walter of Savannah, Georgia.
Family requests memorials be sent to American Cancer Society. A family service is planned.
