Mary Thompson

Mary L. (Hendrix) Thompson age 83 passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at Tahlequah City Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mary was born October 31, 1929 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Elmer and Lillian Mae (Wright) Hendrix. Mary attended business college. She married John Paul Thompson December 19, 1945. Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Southwest Sporting Company before retiring. She was a member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Lillian Hendrix, her sister Ellen Blackstock and her husband John Thompson (August 17, 1985). She is survived by her son David Thompson and his wife, Tonya of Cookson, Oklahoma, her daughter Leah McIntosh of Tulsa, Oklahoma along with ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. Graveside services are Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Pastor Gary Volz will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
