Mary Sue Nichols

Mary Sue Nichols age 68 passed away suddenly on Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mary was born in Yale, Oklahoma on September 24, 1946 to Wiley Wilson Nichols and Rose Marie Snell. She graduated from Drumright High School and Hillcrest Nursing School. Mary worked for thirty-five years at St. John Medical Center most recently as a House Supervisor. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and her church. Mary was a member of Unity Church in Tulsa.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Wiley and Rose Marie Nichols.

She is survived by her son, David Nees, her daughter, Jennifer Nees and Gail Cohen Jennifer's partner of thirteen years, her sisters, Helen Nichols, Linda Gayhart, her two nephews: Kymer McWhirt, Darren McWhirt, her two nieces: Meryl McWhirt, Crystal Hall along with other family members and numerous friends and acquaintances.

Memorial services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Unity Church of Christianity, 3355 S. Jamestown Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Mary Anne Harris will officiate.
