Mary Sue Scott Freeman, age 85 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this world into the next on June 13, 2022. Affectionately referred to as Sue, she loved living life to the fullest. She was active in the Crusaders Sunday School Class at Parkview Baptist Church, loved her Wednesday bowling league, and rarely missed her coffee club each morning at Panera. She supported several causes but the one most dear to her was The Spring, focusing on survivors of domestic violence and human sex trafficking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Maudie Scott of Big Cabin, Oklahoma; husband, Paul Edward Williams and husband John Dugan Freeman; and brother Earl Scott. Her three children survive her: John Williams and wife, Raven of Humble, Texas; Carla Bourne and husband, Mike of Atoka, Oklahoma; and Paula Webber and husband, Jerry of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Sue had six grandchildren for whom she lived and 6 great-grandchildren who brought countless hours of joy to her. She is also survived by her brother, Travis Scott of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Jean Yowell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her best friend, Margaret Goatcher of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Sue will be laid to rest on June 30 at the Veterans Cemetery at Fort Gibson.
