Mary Ruth Glenn

Mary Ruth (Murphy) Glenn age 81 passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary was born May 20, 1926 in Vernon, Texas to Hardy Brown and Edna Florence Baker Deatherage Brown. Mary attended schools in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She married Cecil Glenn March 19, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was a homemaker and during the 1960's Mary worked as a waitress at the Elks Lodge in Tulsa. Mary enjoyed traveling, sewing, making quilts, cooking and spending time with her family members.
Mary was preceded in death by both her parents: Hardy and Edna Brown; her beloved husband, Cecil Glenn who passed away in 1995; her son: Richard McAllister; along with her four brothers and one sister.
Mary Glenn is survived by her two daughters: Ruth Ella Hoelscher and her husband, Earl of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Mary Ann Flanagan and her husband, John of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her daughter in-law: Karen McAllister wife of the late, Richard McAllister, Bixby, Oklahoma; two sons: Joe McAllister and his wife, Sandi of Ketchum, Oklahoma; Ronald McAllister of Forrest City, Arkansas; her extended Glenn family members who live in California who where very dear to her, along with nine loving grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Her Son in-law, John Flanagan will officiate.
