Mary Minor Terry

Mary "Minor" (Disiere)Terry passed away at the age of 83 on April 6, 2018 at her home in Sapulpa, OK with her loving family by her side. Minor was born on August 11,1934 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the parents of Alfred Disiere and Clara-Margaret Ellis. She spent her younger years growing up in Okmulgee where she graduated from high school but spent the majority of her life in California. She returned to her native state a year ago to be able to spend time with her grand and great-grand children.

Minor loved to spend time in her garden, planting flowers and vegetables and was an amazing seamstress and knitter. Her daughters would describe her as super stylish and that she could take rags and make them look like a million dollar outfit. She rocked every decade that she lived fashionably and could set a dinner table worthy of a magazine spread. She had the most beautiful smile and a great sense of humor with a laugh that was very contagious. She was loved by all who knew her even if for a short time. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Disiere and Clara-Margaret Ellis; Spouses; Roy E. Michael; Wayne E Terry and brother, Roy Disiere.

She is survived by her daughters, Jaime Disiere, Kevan Godwin, Jo Beth Force; brother; John Disiere; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
