A funeral service for Mary Lucille Lievsay will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Morris Assembly of God with Rev. Cecil Guthrie and Rev. Diane Twist officiating.
Mary Lucille Lievsay Franklin, age 99, of Morris, passed away July 15, 2020, at her residence. She was born on October 31, 1920, a daughter of the late Harold Everett Wells and Esther Lee Thurman Wells.
She attended Assembly of God churches all her life. She was a retired accountant. She enjoyed planting vegetable and flower gardens, watching birds, reading her Bible and Beverly Lewis novels. She especially loved spending time with her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She will be remembered most for her love of Jesus and her kindness to everyone she met. Her faith left a lasting legacy.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband’s Edward “Jack” Lievsay and Rev. C.R. Franklin; one son, Harold Lievsay.
Lucille is survived by three granddaughters; Tonya Traynor, Angel Palmer, Candy Lievsay, and daughter-in-law, Dianna Lievsay; six great grandchildren; Josie Palmer, Taylor Palmer, Kaelan Traynor, Kyleigh Traynor, Jackson Traynor, and MaKenna Traynor. One sister; Joyce Booze; one niece; Melinda Booze; one nephew; Jon Booze. She also leaves behind other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
