Mary Lois Wier

Mary L. Wier was a fun loving and feisty Christian lady. She was born November 2, 1923 in Harrison, Arkansas to Harvey and Ethel Hunt and was one of four siblings. She passed away September 10, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Everett Wier who preceded her in death.

Mary worked for Mid-Continent Oil Company; she taught school in the Tulsa area and cared for people's children as a Nanny. She was a great mother, homemaker and care-giver.

She is survived by three children: Pam Davis, Carolyn Bulger and Marvin Wier.
She has seven grandchildren: Jason Bulger, Jennifer Rogalski, Julie Reedy, Jeremy Wier, Tiffany Burchett, James Ashlock, Douglas Ashlock, eleven great grandchildren, her brother, Clyde Hunt of Edmond, Oklahoma and a host of friends.

She loved people and children of all ages, living life to the fullest. She adored her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She instilled her love of Jesus to her family. She was outgoing and friendly with everyone she met. She was faithful to her church and believed in loving everyone, being very generous with anything she had, whether it was time, money or affection. Mary was a loyal friend and neighbor. She wouldn't miss her weekly prayer and Bible group at Regency Park Nazarene.
She had an extra-ordinary personality and spirit. She will be missed by all who ever met her.

Heaven is rejoicing for their newest angel.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene, 8707 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.

The family members request contributions be made to the Clarehouse.
