Mary Jane Nelson

Mary Jane Nelson, a resident of Weleetka, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 78. She was born September 9, 1932 to Lon T. and Minnie (Martin) McDaniel in Warner, Oklahoma. On November 21, 1952, she married Raymond Nelson in Reno, Nevada. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Nelson of the home; seven children, Teresa Frier of Talketna, AK, Cynthia Kisselburg of Riverside, CA, Cheryl Marchuk and Paula Marchuk both of Delta Juntion, AK, Camilla Harris and Raymond Nelson, II both of Weleetka and Marlena Franklin of Fairbanks, AK; three sisters, Mildred McDaniel of Olivehurst, CA, Lorane Journey of Sutter, CA and Joyce Upton of Olivehurst, CA and brother, Connie McDaniel of Yuba City, CA; twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date this summer. Arrangements are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
