Mary Ethel Dellis

Mary Ethel (Greathouse) Dellis age 83 passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mary was born July 20, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George "Cat" Greathouse and Grace Rusk. Mary graduated from Webster High School and married William "Bill" Dellis on September 7, 1950 in Tulsa. She was a dedicated homemaker. Mary was the queen of Circle C Round-Up Club, she loved to ride horses and liked sewing, needlepoint and quilting. She was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Cat and Grace Greathouse, her loving husband, William "Bill" Dellis and her son in-law, Doug Crabtree.

She is survived by her son: Monty Dellis and wife Julie of Wynona, her four daughters, Teri Hancock of Sapulpa, Viki Crabtree and partner Mike Baum of Coweta, Tami Northrup and husband Mike of Coweta, and Traci Jenkins and husband Dave of Coweta. Mary had ten grandchildren: Butch Dellis, Wayne Williams, Wesley Williams, Niki Alford, Randy Vickers, Monica Vickers, Jessica Alford, Joel Jenkins, Lindsie Crabtree, Cayla Vickers along with six great grandchildren and her siblings: Wanda Canavan of Houston, Texas, Joe Greathouse and his wife Phyllis of Sapulpa, along with other family members and friends.

Pallbearers are: William Hancock, Mike Baum, David Jenkins, Wayne Williams, Wesley Williams and Randy Vickers.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 14085 S. 296th E. Avenue, Coweta, Oklahoma. Reverend Leonard Busch will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
