Mary E. Johnson

Mary E. (Henderson) Johnson age 91 passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary was born June 30, 1919 in Muskogee County, Oklahoma to William Joseph Henderson and Mary Didamie Steadman. She graduated from Muskogee High School and the Draughon School of Business. Mary married Clarence Johnson on July 13, 1940, he preceded her in death in 1982. She owned Johnson Beauty Supply for many years before she retired, but kept active by founding the Westside Widow/Widowers support group, in her spare time she enjoyed reading. Mary was a member of First Christian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Clarence Johnson; along with eight of her siblings.
She is survived by her son: Roger Johnson and his wife, Lupe; grandson: Joseph Johnson and his wife Cynthia and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
