Martha Suzanne Carpenter

Martha "Suzanne" Carpenter age 73 passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family members.

Suzanne was born on May 18, 1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Robert Castle Mackey and Helen Imogene (Griffith) Mackey. She graduated from Holdenville High School Class of 1960 and East Central State University in 1963, she received her Bachelor's of Science in Home Economics. She taught for Lone Star School in Sapulpa and retired in 2000. Suzanne enjoyed needlepoint, cooking and collecting antiques. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, educator and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Helen Mackey.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Phillip M. Carpenter, her daughters: Kristi Jene' Carpenter, Traci Nicole Bottorff and her husband, Kurt Lee, her sisters: Kate Castle Lay and her husband, Tom Lay, Nancy Ellen Wasson and her husband, Richard, her brother, Robert Castle Mackey and his wife, Maxine, her aunt Irene Gertrude Griffith, along with other family members and friends.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
