Martha Maedean Harvill, 83, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Martha was born May 16, 1934 in Zena, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Maple (Robert) Youngblood and Frank Youngblood.
On January 29, 1968 Martha married James Woodrow (J.W.) Harvill in Irving, Texas.
Martha owned and operated numerous restaurants. Two of them were known as the Cotton Wood Flea Market and Deanie’s Café. On her spare time, she enjoyed going fishing with J.W., shopping at local yard sales, and watching the dirt car races. Many knew her as “Mama” but J.W. knew her as “The Boss”. Martha had a big heart and would do anything in the world for anyone. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle and caring person.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maple (Roberts) Youngblood and Frank Youngblood; daughter, Maple Bowlin; and a brother, Frank E. Youngblood.
Surviving include her husband, J.W. Harvill; sister, Ester; and her beloved dog, Coco.
