Mark Byron Jennings passed away November 19, 2018; he was 64. He was born October 12, 1954, in Claremore to Merryll (Hunnicutt) and Dr. M.R. Jennings, who delivered him. He received an electrical engineering degree from OSU and a law degree from the University of Arkansas. On January 18, 1980, he married Teri Brownlee, and they raised four children, Mark Byron II (Laura); Caroline Elizabeth Jennings Lavoie (Craig); John William (Whitney); and Robert Monroe. Mark was a lifelong Razorback fan and loved riding his motorcycle, listening to music, drinking coffee with Irish cream on the deck, watching the International Space Station pass overhead, and making people laugh, but most of all he loved being Papa to his grandchildren, Ellen Jennings Lavoie, Mark Byron Jennings III, Ada Jennings Lavoie, and yet-to-be-born Baby J. He was preceded in death by his father and his infant brother, Robert Scott. He is survived by his wife, children, mother and six siblings, Mike (Debbie), Malinda (Darryl), Martha (Rafael), John (Tracy), Jan, and David (Kristin). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emergency Infant Services of Tulsa.
