Marjorie Jean Heath

Marjorie Jean (Phillips) Heath age 89 passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at The Gardens Nursing Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Marjorie was born October 31, 1922 in First View, Colorado to Reverend Raymond Phillips and Eva Webb. She graduated from North Kansas City Missouri High School. She graduated with a BSN from University of Alabama Birmingham School of Nursing in 1983. In 1985 she moved to the Tulsa area from Alabama. She was a traveling nurse which took her to Washington D.C., Washington State, California, Kansas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Texas. In Alabama she attended an Asembly of God Church. To her beloved grandchildren and family members she was known as, "Nana". Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and her great grandson, Blake Allen Keddrell (June 2009), four brothers: Gale Phillips, Arron Phillips, Herschel Phillips and Raymond Phillips, her three sisters: Dorothy Burch, Mary Kelley and Joan Poindexter. She is survived by her daughters, Carole Roberson and her husband, Wayne of Kiefer, Gloria Smith and her husband, Sandy of Anniston, Alabama, her brother, Ed Phillips and his wife, Sandy of Oregon, five grandchildren, Pam Gilmore and her husband, David of Glenpool, Janet Kedzie of Springfield, Virginia, Robert Shears and his wife, Tracy of Tulsa, Wesley Smith of Weaver, Alabama, Steven Smith of Greenville, South Carolina, ten great grandchildren, Alec Keddrell, Victoria Kedzie, Ava Shears, Shaye Smith, Mary Claire Shears, Adam Kedzie, Phoebe Shears, John Christian Shears, Penelope M. Shears along with other family members and acquaintances. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at The Landing Community Church, 596 West 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Interment will be at City of Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
