Marilyn Anne Pease

Marilyn Anne Pease, age 75, went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Maplewood Care Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Marilyn Pease was born in Albany, New York on May 26, 1930 to Elmer Jerome Bergstraser and Hildegarde Elise Wasmuth. She graduated from Baldwin High School, Baldwin, New York in 1948 and National College for Christian Workers in Kansas City, MO in 1953.
Marilyn moved to Tulsa from Kansas City, MO in 1955. Before retiring she worked as a receptionist at the Tulsa Community Food Bank. Mrs. Pease was a member of 6th Church of Christ Scientist Church and Circle 8's Square Dancing Club.
Mrs. Pease was preceded in death by both of her parents: Elmer Jerome and Hildegarde Elise Bergstraser of Baldwin, New York.
She is survived by two brothers: Elmer Leroy Bergstraser of Springville, Pennsylvania and Robert Sayre Bergstraser of Smithtown, New York; a sister: Hildegarde Marie Thompson of Smithtown, New York; three daughters: Laura Lyn Mauck, Karen Ann Pease of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jane Lee Ash of Jenks, Oklahoma. Mrs. Pease also has 2 grandchildren: David Lee Edward Mauck and Marissa Amber Lee Mauck of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
No local services are planned. Mrs. Pease will be laid to rest at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
