Marieta Anna Fairless

Marieta Anna Fairless, 85, Tulsa resident, died Saturday January 16, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Marieta was born on September 4, 1930 in Spearville, Kansas to her parents, George and Minnie (Schawe) Peintner. She graduated from Windthorst High School in 1947. Marieta married Charles Fairless on January 31, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas. After the birth of their fourth child, they moved to Dodge City, Kansas in 1961. Then in 1968, they moved to Tulsa. Marieta was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing the piano & dancing with her "Chuckie".
She leaves many loving memories with her family; husband, Charles; children, Jorja Rosenberg, Marc Fairless, Toni Bialek, Kim Lisciandra; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaVona Stremel Schlicher, Geneva Ridenhour; brother, Mel Peintner; as well as many other loving family members.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool , OK 74033. Rev. Msgr. Patrick Gaalaas will be officiating.
