Marie M Spear

Marie Maggie Spear, a resident of Eufaula, Ok, was born on July 7, 1916 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Warren Rogers and Lula Clayton. She married Zack Spear on May 20, 1931 in Henryetta and worked as a housewife. She was also a long time member of the Hanna Baptist Church. Marie passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 in Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years. Marie is survived by daughters: Pat berry and husband James of Hanna, OK, and Wilma Bogard of Hanna, OK; sister: Opal Baesemann of California; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Zack Spear who passed away on September 27, 1974, and her son-in-law J.C. Bogard who passed away on July 31, 2007. Services for Marie have been set for Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Hanna Baptist Church. Pastor Wesley Berry will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at the Hanna Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
