Marie Elena Sutton, age 73, passed away in her sleep Tuesday, May 17th, in her Tulsa home.

Marie was born on April 4, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK to George and Billie Dee Hinshaw. She was the second of five girls, raised by her mother and stepfather, Lloyd Booth Jr. Marie was a member of the 1961 Graduating Class of NW Classen High School. She was employed with Encompass Home Health Care.

Marie grew up and made her intial home in Oklahoma City moving later to the Tulsa area for the rest of her life. Her lifelong devotion was to her six children: George III, Gregory, Anne-Marie, Kristina, Oliver and Stephen Jr. Marie leaves many loving memories with her children, daughters-in-law, Irina, Krissy, Ashley; sons-in-law, Doug and Yale Sr.; sisters, Dee, Pam and Joyce; cherished grandchildren, Sergey, Grantham, Graydon, Hannah, Jack, Yale Jr., Mary-Katherine, Harrison, and Reed; and her dearest friend, Mary Fraley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Geri; granddaughter Mara; and husbands, George Miskovsky Jr., and Stephen Sutton Sr.

Marie was a deeply devoted Christian who lived each day honoring her faith and loved with her whole heart. She left an unforgettable impression on all she knew and will be missed beyond measure.

A service celebrating, honoring, and remembering Marie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 First United Methodist Church, 1115 S. Boulder Avenue, Tulsa, Ok. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
