Marguerite "Peggy" (Scott) Meadows age 92 passed away January 28, 2013 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family members. Marguerite was born September 29, 1920 to Lewis Lorenzo Scott and Frankie (Frazier) Scott in Jourdanton, Texas. Marguerite graduated from a business college in San Antonio, Texas and worked as a secretary. Over the years she worked as a church secretary and before retiring she worked at Terry Bowman Tax Service. She married Edward Oscar Meadows on June 23, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri. Marguerite was a long time member of 29th & Yale Church of Christ. Marguerite enjoyed traveling, doing crossword puzzles and reading her Bible on a daily basis. She liked professional football and was an avid Denver Bronco's football fan. She loved the Colorado Mountains. She got great pleasure spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Frankie Scott, her husband, Edward Meadows (April 7, 1976), her seven siblings: Val Frazier Scott, Rita Lois Scott, Lewis Carlos Scott, Nada Carmen Scott, Emil Sylvan Scott, Susan Oleta Scott and Ruby Winona Scott. She is survived by her sons: Edward Scott Meadows and his wife Juana of Ardmore, OK, Paul Daniel Meadows and his wife, Kimberly of Bixby, OK, her daughters: Terry Bowman and her husband, Herbert of Broken Arrow, OK, Rebecca Kirk and her husband, Andrew of Jenks, OK, three brothers: Homer Scott and his wife Marceline of Prather, California, Larry Scott and his wife Francis of Dallas, Texas, Robert Scott and his wife Carri of Nacogdoches, Texas along with her loving nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Services 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 29th & Yale Church of Christ, 2901 S. Yale Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma (918 744-0356). Mr. Bill Burton will officiate. Memorial Donations can be made to the 29th & Yale Church of Christ-Missions Fund. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
