Margitta Christa Grona

In loving Memory of our Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Margitta Christa Grona passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born Dec 3, 1942 to Eric and Gertrude Hauke in Berlin Germany. From Germany they moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

A graduate of Scottsbluff High School. Married and divorced from Patrick Grona, as a military wife she lived in many places Japan, Austin, Tx, Spokane, Wa, Kansas, eventually settling in Tulsa,Ok. She was employed with RG Berry, GRB Resources and a member of Desk and Derrick Club.

Traveling, reading, gardening and spending time with her many friends were her favorite things. She accepted anyone for who they were despite their differences, extremely knowledgable.

Margitta is survived by her brother Juergen (Joe) Hauke, sister Joan Lashley, daughter Vicki Huntley, daughter Tricia Grona, grandsons Kyle and Ryan Huntley, grandaughter Macie Larmore and many nieces and nephews, her brother Dieter Hauke passed before her.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Dieter Hauke.
