Margie Louise Starr

Margie Louise Starr, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born December 13, 1924 to Porter Lee McGuire and Maudie (Berry) McGuire in Campton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter Lee and Maudie McGuire; husband, Earl Harwood; granddaughter; brothers, Wilfred and Willard McGuire and sister, Ona Huff. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Starr; four children, Wilma Davis, Maudie Kelly, Charles Harwood and Patricia Simmons; six brothers and sisters, Cleo Gregory, Freda Waltrip, James McGuire, Mary Brewer, Johnny McGuire and Lena Nielson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Kellyville Cemetery with Brother Robert Yandell officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
