M. Eloise Lamprich

October 17, 1929 — July 13, 2021

Eloise Lamprich was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Hoyt and Etta (Garland) Jones on October 17, 1929 and joined her brother Garland and sister Margaret.

After graduating from Will Rogers high school in 1947, Eloise attended the University of Tulsa where she pledged Phi Mu sorority and made many lifelong friends. Also while at TU, Eloise met her future husband, Harold Lamprich and they married on October 20, 1950, after Harold's graduation.

Two children Julie and Jane soon followed, and Eloise volunteered during these early years with Campfire Girls and the Tulsa Boys Home. When her children were older, Eloise volunteered with the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges and for many years she and Harold performed in its annual fundraiser, The Red Glove Revue. Harold was an active Rotarian and Eloise was just as active a member of the Rotary Anns. Many neighbors will remember Eloise as a perennial precinct worker during elections.

A lifelong commitment, however, was made to the United Methodist Church. Eloise was raised near the TU campus in University Methodist Church and later, when she and Harold moved to "East" Tulsa they became charter members of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. They were dedicated to this neighborhood church and filled many roles during including faithful members of the choir.

Eloise was predeceased by her husband Harold Lamprich; her parents; brother, Garland Jones and sister, Margaret (Jones) Muller. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Lamprich and partner Patty Hines, and Jane Hutto; her grandson, Justin Lamprich and wife Angela; great grandchildren Ryan, Adam, Hudson, and Claire, as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
