Luz Maria Rimple

A memorial service honoring and remembering the life of Luz Maria Rimple will be held, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service with pastor Bruce Edward officiating. Luz passed away Monday evening, September 24, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. She was 77.

Luz was born on October 5, 1940 in El Paso, Texas where she was raised by her parents, Esperanza (Olivas) Soto and Jose Soto.

She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Texas Tech High School. After high school, Luz worked as a secretary for Farah Manufacturing for many years until she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in July of 1989. When she arrived to Tulsa she worked for Interim Healthcare as a Home Health Nurse and then went to work for Victory Christian School as a Teacher's Aide for their pre-school. In 2009 she retired to spend more time with her family.

Luz enjoyed drawing and putting together puzzles. She cherished the time she could spend with her family, especially her great-grandchildren who she adored. Luz was always honest with others but had a loving personality. She had a big heart for helping others and for kids which led her to fostering for many years.

She was a member at Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Esperanza (Olivas) Soto and Jose Soto and two brothers, Chuy Soto and Raymond Soto.

Survivors include one daughter, Esperanza Gonzales; two sons, Tony Molina and Cheyenne Rimple; eight grandchildren, Heather Dillion, CJ Rimple, Janelle Dorantes, Mayra Molina, Michael Molina, Haydi Echevarria and Tony Molina. She also leaves twelve great-grandchildren, Surena, Dallas, Alliyah. Levi, Abel, Eli, Marco, Ramon, Jasmine, Princess, Angel and Daisy; six sisters, Nena, Lupe, Noni, Margi, Vickie and Sukie and one brother, Nando.
