Lucian Thomas Hill

Lucian (Tom) Thomas Hill, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was born October 3, 1931 in Stigler, Oklahoma. The son of Zula (Cummings) Hill and Martin Hill.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean War.

After his time in the service he met the love of his life, Maxine Gibson. They got married in Muskogee on December 20, 1957.

Tom had his own painting company, LT Hill Painting. He managed the business for over 30 years before he retired.

He attended Community Freewill Baptist Church in Kiefer, Oklahoma. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and also a disabled veteran.

Toms life was consisted of his business, church and his family. He was a kind man with an old school way of life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zula (Cummings) Hill and Martin Hill; two brothers, JC Hill, Billy Rex Hill; and sister, Beatrice Hill-Crowder.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Hill; daughters, Kathy Hill and Tammy Wood and her husband, Marty; and sister, Martha Lou Woodbury.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 11 AM at Schaudt's Glenpool and Funeral Service, with Pastor Dickie Parnell officiating.
