Luana Lee Lucas

Luana Lee (Woodworth) Lucas age 63 passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Luana was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 19, 1948 to Lee Woodworth and Glenda Mae Eby. She married Jim Lucas in Miami, Oklahoma on February 27, 1980. Luana received her Masters Degree in Education from NSU and taught at Jefferson Elementary School in Sapulpa before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church - Mounds. Luana was preceded in death by her parents: Lee and Glenda Woodworth and her loving husband, Jim on May 25, 2008. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Halfacre, her son David Armstrong and his wife, Lynelle; her son Bobby Lucas and his wife, Kim of Mounds; her son Cliff Lucas of Tulsa; her daughter Amanda Foyil and her husband Jonathan of Owasso; her grandchildren: Ty Allen, Lexy Morton, Alisha Montgomery, Caleb Armstrong, Zach Armstrong, Jae Armstrong, Blake Boles, Blaze Lucas along with many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at First Baptist Church - Mounds, 101 East 14th Street, Mounds, Oklahoma. Reverend Dick Knox will officiate. Committal will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
