Loyce Marie Horne

Loyce Marie Horne, age 72, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK
Loyce was born June 15, 1936 to John Jacob Brakebill and Velma Estelle Henderson in Seminole, Oklahoma. She graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1954. Loyce was a very successful carpet sales representative for forty-two years before retiring in 2006.
Loyce married Kenneth Horne on December 12, 1973 in Columbus, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2008. She enjoyed puzzles, reading books and playing solitaire. She lived with her three grandchildren: Chase, Colton and London Carrington.
Loyce was preceded in death by both her parents: John and Velma Brakebill, two brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild.
She is survived by her three sons: David J. Carrington of Catoosa and his wife Angela; Charles W. Carrington, Jr. of Sallisaw; Anthony John Rakowitz, of Portland, Oregon; her brother: James Brakebill of Yukon, OK ; her sister: Joyce Owens of Grand Prairie, TX , along with thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 146 South Sheridan, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Tim Dreier will officiate.
