Louise Mary Grady was born to Virginia Irene Neville and Harold Grady on February 24,1933 in Springfield Massachusetts, she had 3 brothers, Harry Grady, John Grady and Dennis Grady. After graduation from High School she enlisted in the United States Air Force, she was a Supply Specialist. Very shortly after she met Gordon Marko, they married and soon after that she was Honorably Discharged July 1953 On January 7, 1954 they welcomed home their first child a baby girl named Deborah Ann, followed by the birth of her second child another baby girl named Susan Mary on January 2, 1956. Two years later Gordon and Louise divorced. She moved to California and, with her Mother's help raised her two children by herself. Her passion was dancing, so she took a job as a Tap and Ballet teacher, she also enrolled her two girls. She went on to become a dance instructor at Author Murray's Dance Studio, then Fred Astir Dance Studio. She met Ian Rogers, married and gave birth to her third child and only son Ronald Lawrence Rogers September 21, 1960. The family moved to a new home in Glendora California. After several years they too divorced. In 1962 she took a job with United California Bank in Los Angeles, California, and after moving several more times, ended up back to where she loved Glendora California, she bought a beautiful home on Laurel St, an Organ (her new found passion) and a blue MG convertible Midget. She was so happy there. Soon it became the family hang out on the week-ends and Holidays. I'm sure most of you can remember the Poker parties, pool parties, and the Christmas Eve White Elephant parties. Of course she was always so full of life, and the life of the party, her laugh was contagious, her jokes and one liners were always a hit. She still worked for the bank nearly 40 miles away so every morning she would take the carpool van (the freeway flyer) to and from work. In 1994 she retired after 32 yrs. Shortly after she decided to move to (the city that never sleeps) Las Vegas Nevada, well of course there were many places to dance there, by the way her favorite dance was the Cha Cha. She would always be dressed to the nines (as she would say) not a hair out of place, makeup and nails were perfection, and she always wore lots and lots of jewelry, mostly diamonds (remember the rings? They were on every finger) she loved being told she was pretty, her response would always be "I am"? Her grandchildren have fond memories of the times they spent with Grandma, teaching them to play the organ, and of course teaching them to dance. She always had a very generous heart, she showered her grandchildren with many gifts, of course she LOVED to shop, and they were more than happy to go along with her, especially Jesse Lou. She got a dog named Charlie, her shi-tzu, her baby she loved him and spoiled him too. Some of her other favorite things were traveling, especially to Ireland, and back to the East Coast to see family and friends, the Race Track with her brother Dennis, dark chocolate from See's candies, shoes, lots and lots of shoes and purses, make-up and perfume, long silk nighties, television (she called her pretty's, don't ask me?), rag magazines like the National Enquire, going out to eat (just about every meal) and the movies every week, and on the week ends of course going out dancing. During her last several years in Las Vegas she was with her constant companion her love Jim. She was happy. On July 3rd 2005, she moved to Oklahoma to be with Suzy, and "her Freddy" as she called him, and her grandson Chase. They spent lots of quality time as a family, there she became very close with Becky (Freddy's mother). She still enjoyed most of her favorite things, including traveling. Susan would take her to Oklahoma City to see one of her best friends Odessa (whom she had know for over 40 years from California. and a Mother Daughter cruise to the Western Caribbean they had a wonderful time. She was happy. But then her health started deteriorating, she had been battling her illness a very long time, her vibrant life was no more but she was happy extremely loved and not alone, Suzy was her constant companion, and caregiver. They were not only Mother and Daughter but also Best Friends. Her tired body gave out and she went to be with the Lord peacefully with Suzy, Freddy and Ronnie by her side on May 2, 2015 at 9:20 PM. She is survived by her 3 children Deborah Marko, Ronnie Rogers and Suzy Landkamer, her 4 grandchildren Rique Guzman, Jessica Louise Brennan (her name sake which she was very proud of) Courtney Rogers and Chase Landkamer, her 7 great grandchildren Julian Rain Guzman, Vidar Sun Guzman, Precious Angel John Michael Brennan, Mia Hope Brennan, Freya Moon Guzman, Addison Jean Knorr, and Madeline Jean Brennan. Two of her brothers Harry Grady and Dennis Grady. She is proceeded in death by her mother Virginia I Grady her father Harold Grady, Brother John Grady and her precious Great Grandson John Michael Brennan. Louise will be truly missed by her loved ones, family and friends, we were are blessed to have had her in our lives. As she would say "meet me at the dance hall in Heaven, and even if you don't know how to dance don’t worry cuz I'll teach you!"
