Louise Imogene Moody

Louise Imogene (Mahnke) Moody age 84 passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Glenwood HealthCare Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Louise was born May 12, 1927 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Arthur Mahnke and Grace (Taylor) Mahnke. She married Jowel Calvin Moody on July 12, 1946. She worked as an Administrative Secretary for the McAlester Public School for over sixteen years. She enjoyed working in her garden, attending to her flowers, playing the piano, cooking, crocheting and doing crafts. Louise was a member of Grace Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Louise was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Grace Mahnke, two sisters and her daughter, Gloria Jean.. She is survived by her husband, Jowel Calvin Moody, her daughter, Coralean Wilkerson of Broken Arrow, her son, Russell Don Moody of Nevada, Texas, her twin brother LeRoy Mahnke of Ponca City, her brother Arthur Mahnke, Jr. of Houston, Texas, sister Virginia Bowen of Ponca City, her four grandchildren, Shonja, Johnathan, Maggie, Emily, her six great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Austin, Matthew, Britain, Collin and Kade along with other family members and friends. Visitation is 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate.
