Lorene Salters

Lorene Salters age 90 of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. John Medical Centers in Tulsa.

Lorene was born February 29, 1924 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Royce A. Rice and Ellen (Smith) Rice. She attended Melette Public Schools. She married Daniel Salters and was a loving homemaker. Lorene attended Solid Rock Baptist Church in Glenpool.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel, her daughter, Shirley Givens, her brother Stacy and her granddaughter, Stephanie.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Raley of Fresno, California, her brother Otto Rice, her sisters, Gracie McIntosh, Mildred Needham, Edith Byrd, her brother, Wilson Rice, her son in-law Jim Givens, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.

Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, Oklahoma. Pastor Todd Parker will officiate.
