Lorene M. Garner

Lorene M. Garner Lorene M. Garner, a resident of Okmulgee, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the age of 86. She was born Tuesday, December 25, 1923 to Robert E. and Lula Mae (Stidman) Lee in Bixby, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Living Way Tabernacle for 56 years and she retired from Ball Glass Company after 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lula Lee; sisters, Stella Creason, Bertha Agee, Maudie Rikard and Arnetic Linder; brothers, Burlie and Bill Lee. Survivors include her son, Carl Dwight McDonald and wife, Toni of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and daughter, Patricia Kay McElroy and husband, Timothy of Okmulgee; seven grandsons, fourteen great grandsons, one great granddaughter, one great great grandson, brother-in-law, Troy Creason of Okmulgee and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Living Way Tabernacle in Okmulgee with Reverend Kenneth Creason officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
