Loran Mcdaniel

Loran Dean McDaniel, a resident of Mounds, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the age of 65. He was born December 2, 1947 to D.L. Bud McDaniel and Rosie (Green) McDaniel in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Hasse and brother, Ricky McDaniel. Survivors include his three children, Julia Kaler and husband, Jay of Henryetta, Rose Dodd and husband, Darrel Griffith of Tulsa and Pete McDaniel of Mounds; seven grandchildren, Levi Heller, Tommy Smith, Bobbie Lee, Derek Beasley, Megan Gordon, Jerry Smith and Pete McDaniel, Jr.; eight great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Okmulgee Indian Baptist Church in Okmulgee.
