Lois Maxine Zwahlen

Lois Maxine Zwahlen of Tulsa, passed away May 23, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old.

Lois was born August 10, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of Alonzo and Adeline (McLaughlin) Morgan.

She married the love of her life, Jerroll D. Zwahlen on January 23, 1956 in Chicago, who survives at home.

Lois was a homemaker. She and Jerroll were members of the Buckaroo and Double Ring square dancing clubs. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and baking and loved taking care of her family.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Tulsa.

In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by three daughters; Janet McCormick and her husband, Brian of Tulsa; Deann Stamper of Tulsa; and Carol Hampton and her husband, Russell of Cashion; three sons; Bruce Zwahlen of Tulsa; Roger Zwahlen of Tulsa; and Larry Zwahlen of Tulsa. She is also survived by a brother, Paul Morgan and his wife, Rosemary of Indianapolis, IN. Lois also leaves seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by two granddaughters; Jessica Stamper and Carissa Gallegos.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 25th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM, with family present at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More on Friday, May 26th, 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa.
