Lisa McDaniel of Mesquite, Nevada, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the age of 67. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, strength, and compassion left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Lisa was born on October 9, 1957, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Thelma Louise Kimbley and Wilbert Anderson. She spent her early years in Ardmore before moving to Santa Monica, California, where she graduated from high school.
Lisa met the love of her life, Robert McDaniel while working at a fiberglass plant in Gainsville, Texas. Their journey together was one of deep love and shared adventures, including a passion for NASCAR and unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys. Lisa had a remarkable career as an IT technician, serving several casinos in Mesquite, Nevada. She was also a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Mesquite, where her faith and kindness shone brightly.
Lisa was a people person in every sense -her caring nature, strong personality, and deep compassion made her a cherished friend to many. She had an incredible ability to bring joy to those around her, forming lasting bonds with family and friends alike.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Anderson who passed in 2008 and her son Jody Lee Wilson. She leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories with her devoted husband, Robert McDaniel; her mother, Louise Kimbley; her brother, Randy Kimbley; and her sisters, Pamela Rhodes and Susan Kilz. She will be dearly missed by her children, Bryan Wilson, Shelley Bryant, Sheila Cunningham, and Elaine Paige, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Brittany Wilson, Brynlee Wilson, Heather Kimbley, Emily Adams, Natalie Adams, Arina Cunningham, Dane Cunningham, and Colbyn Wilson. She also leaves behind many other loving relatives and a host of friends who were blessed to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on February 17, 2025, at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel, 220 S. Alabama Ave., Okmulgee, Oklahoma, with Pastor Adam Hiett officiating.
