Lisa Kay (Wilson) Deys, of Jenks, OK, a beautiful wife to Jeff Deys and mother to Kayden Joy Deys and Alexa Mae Deys passed on Friday, March 25, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
Lisa was born in Wynne, AR, to Kay (Hogan) Wilson and Doug Wilson. She grew up on a rice farm and loved spending her free time as a child, riding her horse, playing basketball, and reading. Lisa was incredibly bright and graduated high school as the valedictorian of her class. Upon graduation, she attended Harding University in Searcy, AR. It was there in her freshman year, the intelligent brunette met her future husband, Jeff Deys. They married in Hickory Ridge, AR, on August 8, 1992, just before Lisa began her junior year at Harding. After completing her degree, she and Jeff moved to Dallas, where he completed the Doctor of Chiropractic Program. She was gainfully employed with KPMG, a large accounting firm as an auditor. They picked up and moved to Oklahoma after Jeff completed his studies. During this time, they became parents to two special girls, Kayden Joy and Alexa Mae. The family enjoyed taking vacations together to Disney World and Sea World. Lisa was a devoted mother and employee. She worked for Samson Resources for 13 years and in 2015 began her career with Quick Trip. Her latest promotion with Quick Trip was to corporate controller. One of her interests outside of family and employment was Pathways Core Training in Dallas, TX. Lisa wanted to empower people, help them attain their potential, and raise the quality of life for others. She felt so passionate about the program that she and Jeff, founded a scholarship for parents of special needs children, so they could attend and reap the benefits of the Pathways training. Due to ill health over the past three to four years, the family put off taking vacations, but just last year Lisa and Jeff put in a new pool, so they could make some fun memories at home together. Lisa will be missed by her family and friends, and the family thanks each one of you for playing a special role in her life.
Lisa is preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Hilderbrand, grandmother, Joy Kay Wilson and grandparents, Ed and Ella Hogan.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jeff Deys, daughters Kayden Joy Deys and Alexa Mae Deys, parents, Kay and Doug Wilson, along with a host of family, friends, and co-workers.
