September 15, 1948 — March 15, 2018

A graveside service to honor the life of Linda Sue Daniels will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK with Pastor Tim Craighton officiating.

Linda Sue Daniels (Crawford) passed away at the age of 69 on March 15, 2018 at her home in Morris, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 15, 1948 in San Bernardino, California to the parents of John Crawford and Viola Crawford (Hicks). Linda spent her years growing up in Wichita, Kansas where she graduated from North High in 1966. On January 11, 1967 she married the love of her life, Martin Daniels. The two of them had found two random people on the street that barely spoke any English and told them that they needed witnesses for their wedding; so the four of them went down to the court house in Okmulgee, OK and the rest was history; 51 years of wonderful marriage they have spent together since. Linda worked at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital and went on to attend North Eastern University in Tahlequah and graduated in 1987 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Linda taught English to middle school children, mainly 5th and 6th grade students, for 10 and a half years at Nuyaka and when the schools consolidated she went on to teach at Beggs until her retirement in 2009. When she was not working she enjoyed crafting, painting, crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Linda cherished the time with her family the most. She enjoyed getting to watch her children and grandchildren grow up and would never turn down an opportunity to spend time with them. She was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Crawford; sister, Patti Rayl; brother, Amos Crawford.

She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Daniels; sons, Allen Daniels, of Tulsa, OK, and John Daniels , wife Christina, of Morris, OK; daughter, Tammy Pope, husband Bardy, of Morris, OK; seven grandchildren and many other friends and family that will forever cherish the precious memories they have of her.
