Linda Darlene Rolen, 78, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1946, in Okmulgee to Robert and Virginia (Davis) Lowery. Linda was raised in Piper, Kansas, and graduated from Piper High School.
A devoted mother and professional, Linda enjoyed a distinguished career in the communications industry, where she became a Key Punch Engineer at AT&T. Later in life, she pursued studies in mortuary science at Kansas City Kansas Community College, although family obligations brought her back to Oklahoma. Throughout her life, Linda's passions included God, music, reading, cross-stitch, and, above all, her deep love for animals, often providing a forever home to many rescued cats and dogs.
Linda was known for her kindness and selfless generosity. Her compassion touched the lives of many, as she was always willing to share what she had to those in need, reflecting her faith and the love of Christ.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Lowery. She is survived by her children, Stacey Rolen, Eric Rolen, and Jamie Rolen; her sister, Iva Jean Powell; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on April 7, 2025, at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel, followed by a graveside ceremony at Beggs Cemetery.
