Services to honor and celebrate the life of Linda Kay Williams will be held on March 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service with Pastor Kevin Jones officiating. The viewing will be held on March 7, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The interment will follow the funeral service at the Williams Cemetery located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Linda Kay Williams of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away with her family by her side on March 5, 2019 at the age of 71. She was born on May 24, 1947 in Beggs, Oklahoma to parents, Hobert and Thelma Franklin. Linda attended Preston High School and would later go on to further her education at Okmulgee Tech "OSUIT" to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts. She married the love of her life, Edgar Williams in November of 1971 and together they had two children, Vickie and Hank. Over the years she worked several different jobs. Those included; running a daycare and working at Glenpool Health Care. But most recently, she was a grandmother who loved taking care of her family and grandchildren.

Linda was known for her sincere and gentle heart. She loved her family so much and especially her grandchildren. She would often make pancakes for them when they spent the night with her and Ed during school breaks. Linda and Ed loved to cookout. Imagine setting outside underneath a shade tree, with Ed grilling out, and Linda telling stories of the past that bring back so many fond memories. That is what it was like to spending an evening with the family at the Williams farm. Linda and Ed were often at home working the cattle of feeding the chickens. They enjoyed spending time at the Okmulgee Lake and having their family and grandchildren over to the farm. They loved gardening and spent many years together, while living a full and meaningful life.

She is preceded in death by father, Hobert Franklin.

Those left to cherish her memory include mother; Thelma Franklin, husband; Ed Williams, three siblings; Brother; Robert Franklin and two sisters; Junie Danders and Wilma Reid.Daughter Vickie Brasiola and son Hank Williams. Grandchildren include, Tara and Kendall Turman, Desiree Smith, Steven and Courtney Williams. Great grandchildren include, Brianna, Landon and Peyton Tolliver, Owen and Easton Turman, Drayden and Tessa Smith.
