Linda Kay (Eads) Brown passed away, Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the age of 67. Linda had been sick for many years and had recently moved into the Skiatook Nursing Home.
Linda was born on May 3, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Rosie Lee (Choate) Eads and James B Eads.
The Eads family moved to Oklahoma not long after Linda was born. She grew up in Oklahoma City, OK and later moved to Tahlequah, OK where she graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1969. After high school she went on to graduate from Cosmetology school. Later she continued her education at business college.
Linda was a very private person. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens and spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was an animal lover and always willing to take in stray animals into her home. She may have had a heart for animals but her true love belonged to her dog, Blaze. Throughout her life she enjoyed listening to music, Bob Segar was one of her favorite artist. She had seen him in concert in her younger years. Recently she spent a lot of her time watching cooking shows and HGTV. Linda had a positive outlook on life, even though life wasn’t always kind she continued to smile.
Linda was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosie (Lee) Choate) Eads and James B Eads; sister, Sherry (Eads) Bennett.
Survivors include one daughter, Cherlenia Brown; two sons, Andy Terrell and Jeremy Brown and four grandchildren, Phillip, Molly, Justin and Jake. She also leaves two sisters, Merry Hull and Penny Sekerak and a brother, Ronnie Eads.
