Linda Faye (Wassom) Dryden Beller age 81 passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 surrounded by her loving family members. Linda was born April 3, 1932 in Rozel, Kansas to George Washington Wassom and Della Jane (Shannon) Wassom. Linda was a twin weighing no more than 2 pounds at birth. Her twin sister, Glenda, died shortly after birth. Linda was the daughter of a Pentecostal Holiness preacher. Because her father was a minister and pastored many churches, Linda moved a lot during her childhood. At the age of twelve Linda accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. Her father baptized her in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In 1951 Linda married Donald Eugene Dryden in Ada, Oklahoma. They were married for eighteen years until Don's death in 1969. From this union they had two children: Darwin Eugene Dryden and Teresa Jane Dryden. In late 1970 Linda married W.K. Beller in Bixby, Oklahoma. They were married for thirty years until his death in 2000. Linda had no hobbies but was involved in the church choir and began playing the piano and organ during church services. She loved decorating and could make just about anything beautiful with the use of a glue gun and a can of spray paint. Linda is survived by her son, Darwin Eugene Dryden and his wife, Glenna of LaVergne, TN and their four children, Angie Layman and her husband, David, Julie Seiber and her husband, Larry and their three children, Dylan Dryden, Tara Dryden and her husband, Jose, her daughter, Teresa Jane Nelson and her husband, Joe of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and two children, Nathan Fenimore and his wife, Lisa and their one child and Rachel Fenimore, Joe's children, Sarah and Jason Denney and their three children, Chrissy and Albert Iaacson and their three children. Linda also has an additional seven step-children, their children and grandchildren along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. Memorial services will be 11:00 Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Joe Nelson will officiate. Some of the most important lessons Linda learned in life were: believe in yourself, be honest, be an optimist and always see the best in everything. Linda was loved by many and will be greatly missed by friends and family. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
