Linda Darlene Collins

Linda Darlene Collins, a resident of Morris, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the age of 68. She was born on February 6, 1947 to Rufus Edgar and Vera Bertha (Rogers) Keen in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morris. She enjoyed being a beautician and owned Mission Lane’s Beauty Shop in Okmulgee. She loved barrel racing and riding horses and used to barrel race for the Preston and Nuyaka Round-Up Club but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Edgar and Vera Bertha Keen and brother, Johnny Keen.

Survivors include her two children, Allen Snelson of Morris and Dannette Dill and husband, Michael of Preston; twin sister, Opal Charlene Chadic and husband, Jerry of Fall River, KS; sister, Annie Keen; brother, Kenneth Keen of Fall River of KS; three grandchildren, Haden Snelson, Grace Snelson and Garrett Dill and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Schaudt’s Okmulgee Funeral Service with Pastor Randy Matthews officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Morris Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Schaudt’s Okmulgee Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Dale Shipman, Ronnie Shipman, Haden Snelson, Gary Chadic, Drew Chadic, Hunter Chadic, Tracy Snelson and Christian Chadic.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Casey and Luke Gaither.
