Lewis Buford Holloway, 91, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away March 28, 2017 at Forest Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Lewis was born in Myron, Arkansas on January 29, 1926 to Docia (Spann) Holloway and Virgil Holloway. Lewis graduated from West Plains High School in Missouri. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served in WW II. After his service in the military, he became the owner of Jitney Jungle Grocery Stores.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Docia and Virgil Holloway, wife; Helen, siblings; Tressia Mustion, Winford, and Clifford Holloway.
Lewis is survived by his children; Barbara Horton and her husband Gary, Robert Holloway and his wife Sharon, sisters; Maxine Pease and Earline Wurst, grandchildren; Amanda and Shelbye Horton, Bethany Holloway - Thigpen, Nathanial, and Samuel Holloway, and five great-grandchildren.
